New Addition

Just got a ferret. Blond with little light brown streaks, he's so darling! We think he's about two or three months old, and he loves to run around the room. He is especially enjoying his tri-level cage with about ten toys in it :D along with a bunch of blankets.
And, after many hours of deciding, my sister officially stated the evening before last: "His name is Hobbes." So it is.

Birthdays

April 7th: My brother's birthday. 16 years old! We had a party with friends :) and some amazing dessert made by my sister. No-bake Nutella cheesecake . . . with Oreos! Talk about sugar rush. I couldn't even finish half of mine, and still it remains in the refrigerator. I can't get up the courage to eat it for fear I would pass out from a sugar coma!

Now we are coming up on another birthday. April 12th, my older brother's birthday! He will be turning eighteen this Thursday, and we'll have another party, except this one will only be with family. Mother will make some chocolate éclairs and we will be merry, for Ben has received a national merit scholarship, along with a full ride scholarship to University of Idaho. Thanks be to God!

Happy April

What a wonderful day today! It was unusual, considering we had snow and hail yesterday. Sunshine, brisk air, it was very nice out. So I took a walk downtown, finished up some homework, got some candy, and read a new book!
I also got the day off from school. Why? My mother was tired of teaching for a bit xD so we got to have the day to ourselves. I also cleaned my snake's cage, and tidied up our room a bit. What a nice April 2nd!
Sunday was also enjoyable too. We snacked through lunch, took a nap, then went over to our friends house for some games. Afterwards, we had popcorn and a movie. How relaxing.
